Back of House (Sandwich and Prep) - Artie’s on Locke
Artie’s on Locke, a vibrant sandwich shop, is looking for a talented and motivated individual to join our BOH team. If you have a passion for quality food, strong time management skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we’d love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Work as a member of a small sandwich team, at times independently
- Complete sandwich related prep and cleaning tasks
- Assemble and package sandwiches for retail and wholesale
- Ensure food quality and presentation meet our high standard
- Maintain kitchen inventory and place orders as needed
- Uphold food safety and sanitation protocols
- Adapt to changing needs and handle challenges efficiently
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of kitchen experience (willing to train the right candidate)
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays as needed
- Food handler’s certification (or willingness to obtain)
