Position Type: Part-Time transitioning to Full-Time Seasonal Live-In

Compensation: Competitive hourly rate (Part-Time phase) / Competitive daily rate + full room & board (Travel phase). All travel expenses covered.
Job Overview
We are seeking a warm, trustworthy, and adaptable Companion & Travel Caregiver to support an independent senior. This position begins locally on a part-time basis to build a comfortable routine and connection. It will transition into a full-time, live-in role during the winter months at a seasonal residence down south.
The ideal candidate provides excellent companionship, handles light household management, and enjoys travelling.
Key Responsibilities
- Companionship & Social Support: Engaging in daily conversation, sharing meals, and accompanying the senior on walks or outings.
- Errands & Transportation: Driving to appointments, grocery shopping, picking up prescriptions, and managing general errands.
- Light Housekeeping: Keeping living spaces tidy, managing laundry, and assisting with simple meal preparation.
- Travel Assistance: Accompanying the senior during seasonal relocation, handling airport navigation, managing luggage, and settling into the seasonal property.
Schedule & Travel Flexibility
- Phase 1 (Current): Part-time hours, flexible schedule for local visits and errands.
- Phase 2 (Winter): Full-time, live-in care at winter residence.
- Perks: All travel expenses, lodging, and meals are 100% employer-covered during the travel phase. Paid return travel home for the December holidays is fully included.
Candidate Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Valid passport and eligibility for international seasonal travel.
- Warm, patient, and proactive personality.
- Experience in senior care, companion care, or hospitality is an asset but personal alignment and trust are our top priorities.
- Non-smoker.
- The individual would prefer a female care worker due to the personal and live-in nature of the role.
Pay: $22.00-$27.50 per hour
Expected hours: 1.0 – 40.0 per week
