Summary
We are seeking a motivated Automotive Apprentice and Lube Technician to join our dynamic team. This paid position offers hands-on experience in automotive repair, vehicle maintenance, and customer service, providing a solid foundation for a future career in the automotive industry. Duties
- Assist with routine vehicle maintenance such as oil changes, tire service, and fluid top-offs
- Support the team with basic automotive repairs under supervision, including brake inspections and alignments
- Use hand tools and power tools safely to perform mechanical tasks efficiently
- Help with vehicle inspections, ensuring safety standards are met before customer delivery
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas and organize tools and parts for optimal workflow
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating repair status and answering basic questions
Qualifications
- Strong mechanical knowledge with an interest in automotive repair and diagnostics
- Dealership or service technician experience is a plus but not required; training will be provided
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic maintenance procedures
- Ability to lift heavy objects safely during tire service or maintenance tasks
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude toward learning
- Valid driver’s license; willingness to obtain any necessary certifications or training
