Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Appliance Cleaner to join our team. This role involves thoroughly cleaning and maintaining appliances to ensure they meet high standards of cleanliness and functionality. Responsibilities
- Use hand tools, power tools, and cleaning equipment to thoroughly clean appliances such as refrigerators, ovens, washers, dryers, and other household or commercial units
- Perform facilities maintenance tasks related to appliance upkeep and cleanliness
- Conduct detailed cleaning using appropriate techniques to remove dirt, grease, and debris from various appliance surfaces
- Assist with heavy lifting of appliances and parts safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding cleaning progress or any issues encountered
- Follow safety protocols during all cleaning and maintenance activities to ensure a safe working environment
Qualifications
- Previous custodial or custodial-related experience preferred; experience with commercial cleaning or facilities maintenance is a plus
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in appliance cleaning or repair is desirable
- Strong time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within scheduled timeframes
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely (up to 50 pounds) as required for moving appliances or parts
- Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork and customer service interactions
- Attention to detail to ensure appliances are cleaned thoroughly and meet quality standards
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to safety guidelines

Pay: $17.85-$29.66 per hour
