Concierge Budtender (Must have SellSafe Certification)

In the role of Cannabis Concierge aka Key Holder, you are responsible to assist store management in reaching all store objectives. To ensure the retail store maximizes its sales revenue through excellent customer service, store maintenance, merchandising and handling product shipments.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assists customers in the selection of merchandise, while providing information about the product, materials, technology, and functionality.
- Ensures Spiritleaf Townships customer service standards are upheld by listening to customer’s wants and needs and providing product information when required.
- Maintains store appearance; assists in processing and replenishing merchandise and cleaning. Maintain superior levels of merchandising in the store ensuring that product displays are attractive, space efficient, priced correctly, out of stock signs correctly utilized and secure.
Alerting Management immediately to any store supplies or repairs needed.
- Accurately perform Inventory Store Audits.
- Help to support and create a team environment by respecting co-workers and complying with the Spreading Peace Policy.
- Assist the management team in the training and supervising of employees.
- Handle transactions with 100% accuracy.
- Accurately complete bank deposits and maintain balancing information file.
- Ensure building security is upheld by proper use of alarm systems and store security devices.
- Ensure that store is opened and closed in accordance with hours of business.
- Maintain a professional appearance, demeanor, and attitude always.
- Performs other duties as required.

PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE
- Is knowledgeable of trends and supports brand messaging

- Provides insight to Spiritleaf Store Management in relationship to the customer experience
- Participates in ongoing staff education and through sharing of product knowledge in both
cannabis and accessories
QUALIFICATIONS
- At least 2 years’ experience in a retail environment
- Proven success in offering exceptional customer experience
- A passion for our product and changing the way the world sees cannabis
- A desire to have fun, laugh and support the customer and team member journey along the way
- You must be at least the minimum required legal age in your province, and be able to pass a police background check
- You must have a valid Alberta SellSafe certificate
- First Aid/CPR training an asset (must be able to provide current copy of certificate)
REGULATORY ADHERANCE
- Comply with all OH&S (Occupational, Health, and Safety) policies and procedures
- Support and promote Spiritleaf Township’s and AGLC’s (Alberta Gaming and Liquor Commission) social responsibility programs, and the Canadian Cannabis Act
- Comply with Spiritleaf Township’s policies, standard operating procedures, and practices
WORK CONDITIONS
- Ability to lift 25 pounds
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to complete physical tasks as needed
