About the role
- Communicate with potential and current clients in a professional and informative manner by phone and email, responding to inquiries and requests
- Organize and maintain accurate client records
- Keep financial records using manual and computerized bookkeeping and accounting systems
- Prepare year-end financial statements
- Prepare tax filings for personal, sole proprietorship, corporate, trust and non-profit returns
- Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports
- Reconcile and prepare accounts
- Prepare final financial and other reports
- Perform basic bookkeeping tasks
What are we looking for?
- 2+ years of experience in public accounting
- Fast learner and good communicator
- Experience using financial systems and/ or CRMs; experience with TaxCycle, Quickbooks Online, Sage, Caseware
- Strong self-initiative and the ability to work independently

- Remuneration: $50,000 - $60,000

Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
