We’re partnering with a well-established and fast-growing organization in the insurance space that is seeking a Sales Director to join their Distribution team. This is a fully remote role based in the Edmonton area, offering the opportunity to lead, influence, and grow a strong network of advisors while driving meaningful business results.
This is an excellent opportunity for a relationship-driven sales professional who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and enjoys working closely with advisors and national accounts.
- Build, manage, and strengthen relationships with advisors and distribution partners
- Motivate and support national account relationships to drive growth
- Deliver engaging seminars and webinars to educate and influence advisors
- Develop deep product knowledge and stay informed on market competition
- Segment and strategically manage advisor/distributor relationships
- Monitor persistency, cancellations, and overall book performance
- Consistently achieve monthly sales targets and adjust strategies as needed
- Collaborate closely with internal teams and head office stakeholders
- Represent the organization professionally in the marketplace
- Promote incentive programs, contests, and conferences
- Manage expenses effectively and operate with strong business discipline
- Contribute to a high-performing, collaborative sales culture
- Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships
- Self-motivated with excellent time management skills
- Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities
- High level of professionalism and ability to handle confidential information
- Experience in insurance, financial services, or advisor-based distribution is an asset
- LLQP designation is considered an asset
- Fully remote with flexibility and autonomy
