Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Pizza Maker to join our vibrant restaurant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, cooking, and delivering exceptional food service experiences. The Pizza Maker will be responsible for preparing delicious pizzas from scratch, ensuring all dishes meet our high standards, and providing excellent customer service.
Duties
- Prepare pizza dough, sauces, and toppings according to established recipes and standards
- Cook pizzas to perfection using various ovens and cooking techniques
- Handle food with proper safety and hygiene practices in compliance with food safety regulations
- Assist in food preparation for other menu items as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils
- Serve customers at the counter or in a dine-in setting with friendly and efficient service
- Ensure all food handling procedures are followed to promote a safe dining environment
- Manage inventory levels of ingredients and notify management of supply needs
Qualifications
- Prior experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service preferred, especially within the restaurant or food industry
- Knowledge of kitchen safety protocols and food handling procedures
- Strong skills in meal preparation, food safety, and maintaining cleanliness standards
- Experience with serving customers in a fast-paced environment is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Flexibility to work during peak hours, including evenings and weekends if required
