We are a sales leading, progressive, high volume and growing automotive dealership in Sudbury, Ontario.
A Senior Parts Counter Sales Associate is responsible for advising and assisting our customers with finding the right part for their automotive needs. They are relied upon as an expert of automotive parts and accessories and are able to achieve a high-level of customer service in a retail environment.
Job duties for a Parts Counter Sales Associate include:
· Sell parts through the shop, by phone or over the counter to customers and technicians.
· Assist walk-in customers with the selection of parts, suggest companion requirements and relay specials to ensure customer is aware of the product line.
· Provide price quotes and other related parts information via the telephone or email.
· Determine availability on out-of-stock items and, if requested by customer, submit emergency order.
· Provide guidance to outside sales representatives regarding orders.
· Prepare orders daily for shipment, delivery or pick-up.
· Retrieve parts purchased from stock.
· Review files weekly to keep track of back orders and return to vendor items.
· Issue credit for parts returned; ensure invoice number is on hand to verify purchase and pricing.
· Fill product when empty. Wipers, filters, displays, batteries etc.
· Maintain cleanliness of front counter and warehouse - dusting, pricing etc.
· Assist when stored tires are needed for technicians.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
· 5+ years automotive parts experience preferred
· Able to prioritize and multi-task effectively
· Strong customer service focus
· Working knowledge of ERA Ignite software an asset
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $65,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
