Role Summary
The Inventory Associate is responsible for managing and maintaining inventory levels, ensuring accurate tracking of stock, and facilitating efficient inventory processes within the warehouse or storage facility. This role involves receiving, storing, and distributing products, as well as conducting regular inventory audits.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
- Maintain organized storage areas for easy access and inventory management.
- Track inventory levels and report discrepancies to management.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and assist in stock audits.
- Prepare and process orders for distribution.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of products.
- Operate inventory management software and other tools for tracking purposes.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment in compliance with safety regulations
Qualifications & Requirements
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent; further education in logistics or supply chain management is considered an asset.
Experience:
- Proven experience in inventory management or a related field.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in inventory management software (Microsoft Excel, Dynamics 365 Business Central).
- Familiarity with barcode scanning technology.
- Basic math skills for inventory tracking and reporting.
- Problem-solving abilities to address inventory challenges effectively.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Physical Requirements:
- Manual dexterity to operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks).
- Ability to lift up to 55 lbs repeatedly and perform physical work such as bending, pushing, and pulling.
- Comfortable working in wet, dusty, and noisy warehouse environments.
- CSA-approved steel-toe safety footwear.
Schedule:
- 40 hours per work, day and afternoon shifts

Application question(s):
