The Role
We’re hiring a Flooring Sales Associate who can handle project-based sales from start to finish — not just retail transactions.
You’ll work with customers to understand their needs, recommend the right flooring solutions, and guide them through the entire process including estimating and installation coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist customers in selecting flooring (carpet, vinyl plank, laminate, hardwood, etc.)
- Ask detailed questions to understand budget, scope, and timeline
- Prepare quotes and clearly explain pricing and options
- Close sales and follow up on leads
- Coordinate with installers to ensure smooth project completion
- Stay knowledgeable on all flooring products and trends
What We’re Looking For
- Honest, Trustworthy and independent.
- Proven sales experience (retail, flooring, construction, or home improvement preferred)
- Strong communication and people skills
- Ability to work with customers across a wide range of budgets
- Organized and able to manage multiple jobs at once
Compensation
- Base pay: $18–$22/hour (depending on experience)
- Base pay + Commission on sales (earnings potential $50,000–$80,000+)
