We are hiring Sous Chefs with Two or more years of restaurant experience is preferred. We are excited to welcome candidates with a willingness to learn, a great attitude, and a passion for the guest experience.

What you will do
· Produce high-quality food helping to deliver a menu that reflects local and fresh.
· Assist with ensuring food service is compliant with Food Safety and health regulations,
· Oversee proper cleaning and sanitation of work area and all related kitchen equipment
· Help to plan, assign and direct work of kitchen staff,
· Provide training and on-going performance management for all kitchen team members using the review templates
· Help to maintain and update training manuals for job specific training, lift training, chemical training, food safety, kitchen equipment
· Provide annual operating budget recommendations offering suggestions and creative ideas to improve the kitchen’s performance
· Help to monitor and manage costs through portion and waste control, inventory management, and labour control to ensure goals are met or exceeded
· Ordering product and effectively managing inventory
· Assisting the Head Chef in all of their specific duties and assume that role in their absence
· Support and collaborate with the FOH team to achieve service recoveries and service enhancements in a professional and efficient manner,
· Communicate effectively between shifts and with FOH Supervisors
· Be able to use opentable, toast, margin edge, google drive, excel
· Food safe level 1
· Other duties as assigned as needed
