Pasta Lupino is one of Whistler’s most-loved Italian restaurants, and we’re growing. With our flagship Village location running at full pace and a second site (Caffè Lupino at Function Junction) opening later this year, we’re building a team that can grow with us. We’re not just looking to fill a shift, we’re looking for a skilled, guest-obsessed server who wants to be part of something bigger.
If you’re someone who takes real pride in the dining experience, knows how to read a table, and wants long-term career progression as we expand across the Sea to Sky corridor, this is your role.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Own your section — deliver a warm, attentive, and professional experience from first greeting to final farewell.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using Toast POS, communicating clearly with the kitchen team.
- Upsell confidently — specials, wine pairings, and add-ons — in a way that feels natural, not pushy.
- Manage reservations and guest flow using OpenTable, keeping the floor moving efficiently during peak service.
- Support the team across food running, table maintenance, and side duties to keep service tight.
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately and professionally.
- Address guest questions and resolve concerns on the spot, ensuring every table leaves happy.
- Contribute to a positive floor culture that makes both guests and colleagues feel welcome.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Genuine hospitality instinct, you notice things before guests have to ask.
- Confidence with food and beverage knowledge, including wine and cocktail basics.
- Excellent time management and composure under pressure.
- Familiarity with Toast or similar POS systems (preferred, not essential).
- A long-term mindset, we’re building a team, and we promote from within as we open new locations.
- Serving It Right certification (required or willing to obtain before starting).
THE OPPORTUNITY
We’re at an exciting point. Our Village restaurant is performing strongly, Function Junction opens this year, and additional locations are on the horizon. As we grow, we need people who want to grow with us, whether that’s stepping into a senior server role, training new staff, or eventually moving into a leadership position.

WHAT WE OFFER
- $1,000–$1,800 in tips per pay period (bi-monthly)
