Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Food Counter Attendant to join our vibrant food service team. Duties
- Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately using Micros POS (Point of Sale) systems.
- Prepare and assemble food items efficiently, maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, using POS or similar systems.
- Maintain cleanliness of the counter area, utensils, equipment, and dining space in compliance with sanitation standards.
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as slicing, portioning, and assembling menu items to ensure timely service.
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales opportunities.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining quality standards.
Qualifications
- Previous food service experience or restaurant experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus; basic math skills are essential for cash handling and order accuracy.
- Knowledge of food handling procedures, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations is highly desirable.
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Basic kitchen experience or understanding of food industry operations is advantageous.
- Reliable time management skills to ensure timely order completion and customer satisfaction.
