We are seeking a talented and experienced Jr Sous Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting the Executive Sous and Executive Chef, overseeing kitchen operations, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality dishes. Responsibilities
- Assist the chefs in developing menus and preparing innovative dishes that meet quality standards.
- Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to recipes and presentation standards.
- Oversee food preparation processes, ensuring consistency, quality, and timely delivery of meals.
- Manage food handling procedures in compliance with safety and sanitation regulations.
- Support restaurant management in daily operations, including inventory control, ordering supplies, and maintaining cleanliness.
- Serve as a leader within the kitchen team, fostering a positive work environment and providing mentorship.
- Ensure all food safety protocols are strictly followed to maintain health standards.
- Handle customer requests or concerns related to food service with professionalism and courtesy.
Skills
- Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or food service environment.
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.
