We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises. This role involves monitoring property, preventing loss, and maintaining a secure environment for staff, visitors, and assets. The ideal candidate will possess strong observational skills, a professional demeanor, and relevant experience in law enforcement or surveillance. This is a paid position that offers an opportunity to contribute to a safe and secure environment.
Security Guard: Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to maintain a safe and secure environment.
- Monitor and control access to buildings, properties, and restricted areas.
- Observe, identify, and report suspicious activities, incidents, hazards, or security breaches.
- Respond promptly to emergencies, alarms, and requests for assistance.
- Complete accurate and timely reports, logs, and incident documentation.
- Provide professional customer service and assistance to clients, visitors, and the public.
- Enforce site policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
- Assist with emergency evacuations and coordinate with emergency responders when required.
- Protect client property, assets, and personnel from theft, vandalism, and unauthorized activities.
- Maintain a professional appearance and uphold Hero Security's standards of excellence at all times.
- Must have a valid BC security Licence
Hiring : Security Guards Full time , Part Time and on call basis
Medical Benefits:covered after 90 days
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $18.20 per hour
Expected hours: 6.0 – 12.0 per week
Work Location: In person
