Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and friendly Team Member to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced food service environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service, assisting with food preparation, and maintaining high standards of sanitation and food safety. Duties
- Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and standards
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for accurate order processing and cash handling
- Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and ensuring guest satisfaction
- Handle cash transactions efficiently and accurately, including upselling menu items when appropriate
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, kitchen stations, and dining spaces in compliance with food safety regulations
- Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during busy periods
- Assist with food handling, storage, and inventory management as needed
- Support team members in various restaurant operations to ensure smooth workflow
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and food safety standards is advantageous
- Experience using POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and upselling menu items
- Knowledge of sanitation procedures and proper food handling practices
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Prior experience in cashiering, serving, or the food industry will be considered an asset
