Job Description:
If you are looking for additional income or a side job, we are seeking a skilled individual to join our team and provide administrative support while ensuring the smooth operation of our office. This is an in-person position with some remote hours. We are looking for flexibility, but it will most likely be two days per week for 4 hours each day, plus 2 remote hours on a different day.
Responsibilities:
- Perform clerical duties and fulfill tasks assigned by the supervisor
- Assist with product branding initiatives and marketing projects
- Help develop and maintain brand consistency across social media, promotional materials, and client communications
- Manage correspondence, memos, and reports as needed
- Social media management and content coordination
- Ensure all documents are completed accurately and efficiently
- Manage and update client records and databases
- Liaise with clients to provide updates on orders, consultations, or service requests
- Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, marketing materials, and product launches
- Support day-to-day operations of a growing small business
- Assist with basic bookkeeping, expense tracking, invoicing, and administrative accounting tasks as required
Requirements:
- Experience in the beauty, skincare, cosmetics, wellness, or consumer products industry is an asset but not mandatory
- Experience working in a small business environment is considered a strong asset
- Interest or experience in branding, marketing, social media, or product development is preferred
- Accounting, bookkeeping, or financial administration experience is considered a strong asset
- Experience with QuickBooks, bookkeeping, or accounting software is an asset
- Strong administrative and organizational skills
- Effective verbal, written, and listening skills
- Attention to detail and the ability to work accurately
- Technical proficiency, including the ability to operate spreadsheet and word processing programs
- Ability to work independently and take initiative in a fast-paced environment
