Sweat Zero is a premium contrast therapy studio focused on helping our community recover, recharge, and perform at their best through sauna, cold plunge, and wellness experiences. We're looking for an energetic, sales and customer-focused Assistant Studio Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys leading by example.
Position Overview
The Assistant Studio Manager plays a key role in the day-to-day operation of the studio by supporting the Studio Manager with team leadership, sales performance, client experience, and operational excellence. This is a full-time, hands-on leadership role that combines customer service, coaching, sales, and studio operations.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and passionate about creating an exceptional experience for every member who walks through our doors.
Key Responsibilities
Operations, Leadership & Team Support
- Lead by example and foster a positive, accountable team culture.
- Assist with onboarding, training, and coaching front desk staff.
- Support staff scheduling and daily team communication.
- Provide guidance and support during daily operations.
- Ensure waivers, policies, and operational procedures are consistently followed.
- Perform daily facility inspections.
- Ensure the studio is operating with optimal efficiency
Client Experience
- Deliver exceptional customer service and create memorable member experiences.
- Resolve member questions and concerns professionally.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and hospitality.
Sales & Membership Growth
- Drive membership, package, and retail sales.
- Educate members on Sweat Zero services and promotions.
- Coach team members on sales techniques and client engagement.
- Support membership retention through outstanding customer service and relationship building.
- Monitor booking conversions and daily sales opportunities.
Health & Safety
- Follow all health and safety policies and procedures.
- Maintain incident reports and assist with emergency preparedness.
- Ensure equipment is operating safely and report concerns promptly.
What We're Looking For
- Previous leadership experience in hospitality, wellness, fitness, retail, or customer service.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
- Sales-minded with confidence recommending memberships and wellness services.
- Highly organized with excellent time management skills.
- Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with booking or POS software (Zenoti is an asset).
- Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
