We are seeking a professional company FLATBED truck driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting flatbed freight and company equipment across various locations, ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the highest safety standards. Duties
- Operate commercial trucks to transport FLATBED freight and company materials efficiently and safely.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
- Assist with the operation of heavy equipment and perform minor automotive repairs as needed.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, records, and documentation for all shipments.
- Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during transportation duties.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and clients regarding delivery schedules or issues.
- Ensure proper handling of freight to prevent damage during transit.
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- CLASS 1 License
- 2 years FLATBED experience
- Ability to secure FLATBED freight.
- Physical ability to tarp & Tie down flatbed freight
- Knowledge of automotive repair basics is a plus.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures related to heavy equipment operation and freight handling.
- Ability to operate heavy machinery and perform automotive troubleshooting when necessary.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to adhere to delivery schedules.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and work in various weather conditions.
Pay: $5,000.00-$6,500.00 per month
