Duties
- Assist in coordinating all aspects of event planning, from venue setup to guest registration
- Support marketing efforts by promoting events through social media, email campaigns, and other channels
- Provide exceptional guest services by welcoming attendees, answering inquiries, and ensuring a positive experience
- Collaborate with vendors, venue staff, and team members to ensure smooth event operations
- Help with upselling opportunities by recommending additional services or packages to guests and clients
- Manage time effectively to meet deadlines for event preparations and follow-up tasks
- Assist in budgeting activities by tracking expenses and ensuring cost-effective solutions
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant service, or hotel operations is highly desirable
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with guests and team members
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently under pressure
- Knowledge of marketing strategies and guest services best practices
- Ability to negotiate with vendors or clients to secure favorable terms when needed
- Experience in upselling or customer service roles that involve active engagement with clients or guests
- Familiarity with event planning tools or software is a plus but not required
