Role description:
-Motivated landscaper with previous experience required to aid in landscape installations by performing the following duties:
-Soft landscaping including- tree, turf, shrub and perennial installations
-Irrigation start-up, maintenance and repair
-Perform customer service, e.g., interact with clients
-Operate and maintain horticultural equipment such as skid steers, tractor, etc.
-Help in establishment of a Tree Nursery
-Arborist work in early Spring and late Fall
-Snow removal in winter
Required Skills & Abilities:
-Safe operation and maintenance of trucks, trailers and horticultural tools
-Irrigation experience
-Plant identification skills
-Customer service skills
-Dependable, reliable, efficient and hardworking
-Driver’s license and own transportation required
Education:
-High school education with some post-secondary education, ideally Horticulture Diploma, apprenticeship, or equivalent
-2-3 years horticultural experience
-LANTA-CLT Certification preferred, but is not required
-Irrigation experience preferred
-Air brake and G ticket a bonus but not required
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $22.00-$27.00 per hour
