Job Overview
Lavender Care Co. is seeking reliable and professional Personal Care Attendants / Care Aides to support clients in their homes. This role is ideal for experienced caregivers with a reliable vehicle who value flexibility, professionalism, and respectful client relationships.
Duties
- Assist clients with personal care activities such as bathing, dressing, toileting, and grooming
- Support mobility, transfers, and meal assistance
- Provide non-medical medication reminders
- Offer companionship and assistance with daily living activities
- Perform light housekeeping tasks incidental to personal care (e.g., meal prep, clean-up, laundry related to the client’s personal use, tidying immediate living areas), where authorized
- Follow care plans, safety guidelines, and company standards
- Maintain client confidentiality and accurate service records
- Communicate concerns, incidents, or changes in client condition to management promptly
- Occasionally provide overnight/respite care
Requirements
- Previous experience in personal care, home care, or attendant care
- Ability to work independently and professionally with clients
- Strong communication and reliability
- Current First Aid & CPR (or willingness to obtain)
- Clear criminal record check
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work in the Lower Mainland / Fraser Valley
