Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking advanced driver and labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks that support our operations and contribute to the overall efficiency of our projects. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn new skills, reading, writing and an advanced AR or DZ drivers license with a minimum 3 years experience. A Drivers abstract is mandatory along with a letter of experience.
Duties
- Assist in the loading and unloading of freight and materials.
- Operate 11000kg plus vehicles with trailer load.
- Perform basic automotive repairs and maintenance on company vehicles.
- Utilize backhoe for loading materials around the worksite.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functionality.
- Support commercial driving tasks as needed, ensuring timely delivery of goods.
Requirements
- Previous heavy vehicle driving experience.
- Familiarity with automotive repair is a plus.
- Experience operating forklifts and heavy equipment is highly desirable.
- Ability to lift heavy loads and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.
- Willingness to learn new skills related to freight handling and equipment operation.
- Valid DZ or AR driver’s license is for commercial driving duties.
