Dependable Freight Solutions, a newly established logistics and freight forwarding division of Dependable Truck & Tank Limited, is seeking a highly organized and proactive End-to-End Logistics Coordinator to help build and support our growing operations.

This role is responsible for managing the complete lifecycle of freight shipments — from customer quoting and routing to dispatching, tracking, documentation, and invoicing. Key Responsibilities:
Shipment Coordination & Operations
- Manage freight shipments from initial quote acceptance through final delivery and invoicing
- Coordinate domestic and/or international transportation logistics
- Plan and optimize shipment routing based on customer requirements, transit times, and cost efficiency
- Dispatch loads and communicate shipment details with carriers, drivers, warehouses, and customers
- Monitor shipment progress and proactively resolve delays, service issues, or routing challenges
- Maintain accurate operational records and shipment documentation
Quoting & Customer Service
- Prepare competitive freight quotes and pricing proposals for customers
- Negotiate rates with carriers and transportation providers when required
- Act as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, updates, and shipment support
- Build and maintain strong long-term customer relationships through exceptional service
Carrier & Vendor Management
- Coordinate with trucking companies, freight carriers, customs brokers, and warehouse partners
- Source and confirm carrier availability while ensuring service reliability and compliance
- Maintain strong working relationships with transportation vendors and service providers
Documentation & Compliance
- Prepare and process shipping documentation including:
- Bills of Lading (BOLs)
- Commercial invoices
- Customs and cross-border paperwork
- Delivery confirmations and PODs
- Ensure shipments comply with transportation regulations and company procedures
Billing & Invoicing
- Review shipment costs and verify carrier invoices
- Prepare and issue customer invoices accurately and promptly
- Assist with resolving billing discrepancies and supporting accounts receivable processes
- Knowledge in Microsoft Dynamics an asset
Department Growth & Operational Support
- Contribute to the development and growth of Dependable Freight Solutions
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, service levels, and operational workflows
- Support the implementation of new logistics processes and systems as the department expands
QualificationsRequired
- 2+ years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations
- Strong understanding of quoting, routing, dispatching, and shipment coordination
- Experience with freight billing and invoicing processes
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and transportation/logistics software systems
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge in Load link Technologies an asset
Preferred
- Experience with domestic and international freight operations
- Knowledge of LTL, FTL, or intermodal transportation
- Familiarity with customs or cross-border shipping procedures
- Experience using Transportation Management Systems (TMS)
