- Duties
- Be able to lift up to 50lbs
- Assist in the preparation of meals according to established recipes and standards.
- Help with food handling, ensuring all items are stored and prepared in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Cook various menu items as directed by the head chef or kitchen supervisor.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, cleaning surfaces, and disposing of waste properly.
- Support team members in meal preparation tasks as needed, fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines while working in the kitchen.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance skills related to food service and kitchen operations.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food handling or food service is preferred but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork skills with a willingness to help others in the kitchen.
