Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage waitlists efficiently
- Escort guests to their tables and provide menus promptly
- Answer phone inquiries with professional phone etiquette
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host station and waiting area
- Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow
- Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and feedback courteously
- Assist in managing customer flow during busy hours to minimize wait times
- Support team members with additional tasks as needed to enhance overall guest experience
Qualifications
- Prior experience in guest services, serving, or hospitality is preferred but not required
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Knowledge of restaurant POS systems is a plus
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
- Basic food service knowledge and understanding of hospitality standards are desirable
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings
