A Social Media & Digital Marketing Specialist (Powersports) is responsible for promoting motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, snowmobiles, personal watercraft, and related products through digital channels to increase brand awareness, customer engagement, lead generation, and sales. Typical duties found in powersports dealerships and manufacturers include:
Key Responsibilities
Social Media Management
- Create, schedule, and publish content on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and other platforms.
- Produce engaging photos, videos, reels, stories, and promotional posts.
- Monitor comments, messages, and online communities.
- Manage online reputation by responding to reviews and customer feedback.
Digital Marketing Campaigns
- Plan and execute digital campaigns to promote vehicles, parts, accessories, events, and seasonal promotions.
- Manage paid advertising campaigns through Google Ads and Meta Ads.
- Develop email marketing campaigns and newsletters.
- Maintain content calendars and campaign schedules.
Content Creation
- Photograph and film inventory, customer events, rides, and dealership activities.
- Create graphics using Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Write marketing copy for social posts, emails, websites, and advertisements.
- Collaborate with sales and service departments to showcase promotions and new arrivals.
Analytics & Reporting
- Track website traffic, social engagement, leads, and campaign performance.
- Generate reports and recommend improvements based on data.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
Event & Community Marketing
- Promote demo days, open houses, racing events, trade shows, and community rides.
- Coordinate influencer, ambassador, sponsorship, and partnership programs.
- Support live event coverage through social media and digital channels.
Qualifications
Education
- Diploma or degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Digital Media, or a related field.
Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in social media, digital marketing, or content creation.
- Experience with Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, Google Ads, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, and email marketing platforms.
Preferred Skills
- Strong copywriting and communication skills.
- Photography and videography experience.
- Knowledge of SEO and social media best practices.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
- Passion for motorcycles, powersports, motorsports, or outdoor recreation.
