Duties
- Prepare sandwiches according to customer specifications and menu standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to sanitation and food safety guidelines
- Operate the POS system, including Micros POS, for processing customer orders and payments
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and answering questions about menu items
- Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients and supplies
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations
Skills
- Proficient in food preparation techniques with a strong understanding of food handling practices
- Experience with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is preferred
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy periods
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with customers
- Knowledge of basic math for handling cash transactions accurately
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and sanitation practices in a kitchen environment
- Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant setting is a plus
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining quality standards
