As a member of our In-Room Dining team, you are one of many characters bubbling over with personality, humor, kindness and sincerity. With a positive attitude and strong work ethic, you aim to please each and every guest by delivering a memorable experience.
Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to:
- Deliver legendary customer service with a warm and friendly welcome, makes the guest comfortable and shares knowledge of our food and beverage offerings including personal recommendations
- Processes IRD orders through phone/mobile app
- Processes all cash transactions in an accurate and timely manner
- Strong organization skills, maintains a clean workplace and ensures that all resources and product are in place allowing you to put the guest first and foremost
- Delivers amenities organized through the Sales and Catering department
- Opens and closes each shift in accordance with job standards
- Stocks and replenishes supplies in In-Room Dining
- Set up and restock of all required food and beverage offerings along with incidentals in Delta Pantry in accordance with Brand Standards
- Takes inventory and completes requisitions for the Delta Pantry
- Contributes to a positive team environment reinforcing good morale, respect and integrity of others.
- Works in compliance with the requirements of the Brand Standards Audit (BSA)
- Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; complete safety training and certifications
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others; support team to reach common goals. Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards
- Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors
Requirements
- Post-secondary education
- Knowledge and passion for food and hospitality
- A minimum of one year experience as a restaurant or banquet server
- Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time
- Outgoing and friendly
- Able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- Computer/app skills required
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Must have a valid smart serve certificate which does not expire in 2026 is required
- Food Handling Certification preferred
