Noble is seeking hard working, motivated individuals to join our team as a millwright in the fast-paced mining industry. The successful individuals will be responsible for working as part of the Noble team to help develop and maintain the construction sites.
Position Title: Millwright
Location: Mosaic K3 Underground
Position Type: This is a project-specific position with an anticipated duration of approximately 6 months.
Schedule: Employees will work a two-week on two-week off night shift rotation.
Travel/LOA: Compensation provided to and from the work site for each turnaround, provided all company travel eligibility requirements are met. As well as a daily living out allowance for employees who meet and provide eligibility requirements.
Closing: Position will remain open until a successful candidate is hired
Responsibilities:
- Operating various pieces of equipment
- Follow Noble and Mosaic safety policies
- Participate in safety meeting and toolbox talk with supervision
- Gathering and staging various materials to complete construction task
- Read blueprints, diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures
- Install, align, dismantle and move stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment, such as pumps, fans, tank, conveyors, furnaces and generators according to layout plans using hand and power tools
- Adjust machinery and repair or replace defective parts
- Operate machine tools such as grinders, impacts, etc, to fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance or set-up of machinery
- Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on machinery
Job Skills:
- Must hold a valid class 5 license
- Underground experience preferred
- Journeyman
- Ability to work well with others in a team environment
Work conditions and physical capabilities:
- Physically demanding
- Combination of sitting, standing, walking
- Bending, crouching, kneeling
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts night shift
