Position Summary
Accelis Materials Plus is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Inside Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering accurate pricing and lead times while providing exceptional customer service. You will play a key part in converting customer inquiries into sales, building strong relationships, and supporting the growth of both target and emerging accounts.
This position requires strong organizational skills, a customer-first mindset, and the ability to negotiate effectively while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities

Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone, email, and other communication channels

Prepare, issue, and follow up on quotes for a wide range of products

Convert customer inquiries into orders while maximizing sales opportunities

Process sales orders, returns, credits, and debits accurately and efficiently

Provide product knowledge and technical support to customers

Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with purchasing/management to address supply concerns

Resolve customer service issues to ensure satisfaction and long-term loyalty

Build and grow customer relationships, developing accounts into repeat business

Enter and manage scrap return orders as required by distribution channels

Stay informed on competitor products, pricing, and market trends

Support quality-related initiatives and ensure compliance with company procedures

Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

Travel occasionally as needed to support business objectives

Maintain and enhance knowledge of company products, services, and processes
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience

Proficiency with computer systems and order entry platforms

Prior experience in a customer-facing or phone-based role

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications

1-2 years of inside sales or account management experience

Proven ability to sell, negotiate, and close business with customers

Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Knowledge of industrial or metal products (highly preferred)
