Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Dental Assistant to join our dental team. The ideal candidate will support the delivery of high-quality patient care by assisting the dentist during procedures, managing patient comfort, and ensuring smooth clinic operations. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment utilizing advanced dental technologies and software. The position requires a strong understanding of dental assisting procedures, medical terminology, and familiarity with dental practice management systems such as Tracker & Trios. Experience in orthodontics and implant procedures would be an asset. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, professional, and dedicated to providing excellent patient experiences.
Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, including exams, cleanings, restorations, and orthodontic treatments
- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available
- Take and develop dental radiographs (CAD experience preferred)
- Manage patient records accurately using dental software
- Provide patient education on oral health care and post-treatment instructions
- Ensure patient comfort and address any concerns or questions
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and OSHA regulations
- Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and invoicing procedures
- Assist with inventory management of dental supplies and ordering
Qualifications
- Valid license as a Registered Dental Assistant in accordance with state regulations
- Proven experience in dental assisting, with knowledge of medical terminology
- Familiarity with dental practice management software such as Tracker
- Experience working with orthodontics, implamnts or in a clinical setting is advantageous
- Ability to operate CAD systems for digital imaging and design tasks
- Strong communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively
- Professional demeanor with excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

Pay: $28.00-$35.00 per hour
