Responsibilities
- Efficiently wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to uphold food safety standards.
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, assembling ingredients, or portioning items under supervision.
- Support the kitchen team by maintaining cleanliness in workstations, floors, and storage areas throughout shifts.
- Help with meal prep activities including setting up ingredients and ensuring all supplies are ready for cooking and serving.
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure hygiene and safety regulations are consistently met.
- Assist with waste disposal and recycling processes to keep the kitchen environment clean and environmentally friendly.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service delivery and a positive dining experience for guests.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key!
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting or bending as needed.
- Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude and willingness to support others in busy moments.
- Familiarity with cooking or meal preparation activities is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided.
