Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and organized Medical Clinic Receptionist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth daily operations of the front desk. This role requires strong administrative skills, familiarity of office procedures, and proficiency with basic computer software. The receptionist will play a vital role in maintaining an efficient, welcoming environment for patients and staff alike.
Duties
- Greet patients and visitors warmly upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression
- Manage multi-line phone systems to schedule appointments, answer inquiries, and relay messages accurately
- Verify patient information and update electronic medical records
- Schedule appointments efficiently
- Show patients to exam rooms
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area to promote a professional environment
- Support administrative tasks
Requirements
- Prior experience as a office administrator or receptionist is preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel
- Typing Speed of 55 NWPM or higher
- Experience working in a fast-paced office environment with multi-line phone systems
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing patient information and schedules
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
- Exceptional communication skills—both verbal and written—along with a friendly demeanor
- Previous office experience in healthcare settings is desirable but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
