Role: Scrum Master
Location: Mississauga, ON
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Orchestrating the work of 23 Consumer Data Platform scrum teams so that they deliver business value and execute on their roadmap with discipline and high velocity
- Partnering with product owners on the team to ensure the team understands the work the team is accountable for delivering and the value to the organization
- Having understanding of what the team must deliver partner with engineering leads on the team to explore the tradeoffs of various solution options align on solution architecture and break down the engineering work needed to deliver
- Creating believable and achievable plans based on engineering work and dependencies that generate confidence that the team can deliver to committed dates
- Orchestrating execution across one or more sprints to successfully ship features on time and under budget looking around the corner for blockers and proactively working with your team partners and leaders to create visibility and remove them
- Being the scrum master for your team Own Agile planning standups demos retrospectives and the execution of your sprints
- Making sure solutionssoftware built is compliant with agreed SDLC process artifacts and required artifacts are produced and tracked in a timely manner
- Keeping technical debt in check and ensuring teams are building using modern practices and tools driving necessary changes for the entire development community
- Cultivating operational excellence within your teams Insist that your teams provide timely resolution of identified production defects Understand SLAs and how your systems are performing in relation to them
- Operating successfully in ambiguous environments with a high degree of ownership customer obsession and bias for action while insisting on high standards for yourself and others
- Clearly Communicating upward and outward verbally and in writing
- Being a continuous learner be it business models engineering practices or data technology platforms
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in a technical discipline preferably computer science or equivalent experience
- 7 years of software engineering data engineering data analytics or business intelligence development experience in addition to 35 years of projectprogram management experience working directly with data and analytics technical teams
- Strong experience in planning estimating and execution using leanagile techniques Knowledge of Jira and Confluence is required
- Understanding of one or more data and cloud platforms required Big DataHadoopSpark Data Warehouse Data Lakes Tableau data ingestion tools like Abnitio and cloud technologies like Snowflake AWS etc
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and experience working with technical management teams
- Strong organizational and coordination skills along with multitasking capabilities to get things done in an ambiguous fast paced environment
- Ability to motivate and drive collaborative effort to reach challenging goals
- Interpersonal skills including relationship building within a diverse crossfunctional team
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and recommendations
- Safe Scrum Management Certified

Benefits
Compensation range: $87,896.00 to $95,125.00 per year
