CNC / Wood Machining Lead Hand – Afternoon Shift
Location: Georgetown, ON
Pay: $33/hr

We’re hiring an experienced CNC / Wood Machining Lead Hand for a busy woodworking facility in Georgetown. This is a hands on setup and run role supporting production flow, machine setup, quality checks, and floor coordination.
What You’ll Do
- Set up and run CNC, panel saw, and edge banding equipment
- Load materials, verify setups, and run production jobs
- Perform basic adjustments to keep machines running smoothly
- Read drawings and BOMs to ensure accurate output
- Complete quality checks using measuring tools
- Support operators and help maintain production flow
- Assist with onboarding and day to day floor support
- Maintain safe, clean, organized work area
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years CNC or woodworking manufacturing experience
- Experience with BIESSE or similar CNC woodworking equipment
- Strong setup and run capability (no programming required)
- Ability to read drawings and use measuring tools accurately
- Strong attention to detail and production flow awareness
- Solid troubleshooting mindset on the floor
Working Conditions
- Afternoon shift
- Manufacturing environment with noise and machinery
- Standing for full shift and lifting up to 50 lbs
- Overtime may be required based on production needs
