Melody Ford is looking for a Service Writer / Advisor to join our growing service team!
As a Service Writer / Advisor:
As an Advisor the primary responsibility is customer service. This includes greeting customers in the department; speaking with customers over the phone and in person at the service counter; opening / processing repair orders and payments; maintaining shop repair flow in the department, ensuring the customers is updated on the status of their vehicle.

Responsibilities:
- Professionally greet and interact with customers by phone and in person
- Open repair orders with the most accurate information from the customer
- Schedule repairs as required, maintaining a good shop repair time balance
- Build estimates for repairs, working with other departments
- Communicate with customers the status of their vehicle and explain the repairs that have been done or are needed
What you'll need:
- Minimum of 3 years of dealership experience
- Computer system knowledge; how to operate Windows based systems and programs (DMS software experience is a requirement. PBS knowledge is an asset but not required)
- Valid drivers license
- Professional demeaner
- Friendly personality
- Desire to grow into the role
