Commercial Lines Account Manager – Multiple Ontario Clients

We work with a variety of established and growing insurance brokerages across Ontario that are currently seeking experienced Commercial Lines Account Managers to join their teams. These roles offer the chance to support diverse commercial clients while working with brokerages that value technical expertise, client service, and long-term relationship management.
About the Role
As a Commercial Lines Account Manager, you will manage a portfolio of commercial clients and be responsible for providing exceptional service, technical advice, and policy management support. You will work closely with Account Executives, underwriters, and insurer partners to deliver competitive insurance solutions that meet each client’s unique business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of Commercial Lines accounts across various industries
- Handle day-to-day servicing including policy changes, certificates, endorsements, binders, cancellations, invoicing, and general inquiries
- Prepare renewal reviews, marketing submissions, and coverage recommendations
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of client documentation and policy files
- Build and maintain strong client and insurer relationships
- Collaborate with Account Executives on marketing strategies and client retention
- Provide timely certificates of insurance and assist clients with compliance requirements
- Review insurance policies and identify coverage gaps or opportunities
- Maintain accurate client records within the agency management system
- Process new business and support growth through cross-selling opportunities
- Stay current on market trends, carrier appetites, and product knowledge
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in Commercial Lines insurance (Account Manager or CSR)
- RIBO license required (active and in good standing)
- Strong understanding of Commercial Lines products, coverages, and underwriting guidelines
- Experience with Applied Epic, TAM, PowerBroker, SIG, or comparable AMS (asset)
- Excellent communication, organizational, and client-service skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- High level of accuracy with documentation and administrative tasks
