Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Mandarin Speaking Property Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing property-related financial transactions, ensuring accurate bookkeeping, and supporting overall financial operations. Fluency in Mandarin is essential to facilitate communication with our Mandarin-speaking stakeholders and clients. Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate processing of transactions
- Perform account reconciliation and bank reconciliation to maintain precise financial records
- Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Yardi and other relevant tools for bookkeeping and financial management
- Conduct account analysis and assist with budgeting activities to support financial planning
- Support auditing processes by preparing necessary documentation and reports
- Handle payroll processing and related activities in compliance with company policies
- Assist with financial reporting, including preparing statements and summaries for management review
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy of financial data and compliance with regulatory standards
Requirements
- Fluency in Mandarin is required; proficiency in English is also necessary for effective communication within the team
- Proven experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Yardi or similar platforms
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping, account reconciliation, bank reconciliation, and account analysis
- Experience in corporate finance, auditing, payroll processing, and budgeting is highly desirable
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced environment
- Prior experience working in commercial real estate/property management is a must
- Relevant educational background in accounting, finance, or related field
