Job Title: Journeyman Electrician – Residential & Service Work

Pay: $45 – $55/hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, day shift, with overtime opportunities

Grove Electric is a locally owned electrical contractor serving homeowners across the Lower Mainland. From panel upgrades and service calls to full home renovations and new builds, we pride ourselves on clean workmanship, clear communication with customers, and treating every home like it's our own. We're adding to our residential team and looking for experienced journeymen — as well as driven newer journeymen who want to grow — who take pride in their work and enjoy variety day-to-day.
What You'll Be Doing
- Service calls, troubleshooting, and repairs in occupied homes
- Panel upgrades (100A to 200A and larger), service changes, and load calculations
- Knob-and-tube replacement, rewires, and renovation work
- New residential builds, suites, and accessory dwellings
- EV charger installs, hot tub circuits, generator hookups, and similar add-ons
- Communicating clearly and professionally with homeowners on site
- Working independently or with an apprentice on day-to-day tickets
What We're Looking For
- Valid BC Journeyman Electrician Certificate of Qualification (Red Seal preferred)
- Residential and/or service experience — the more, the better, but we'll also consider driven newer journeymen with solid field experience
- Strong working knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code
- Comfortable doing load calcs and sizing services
- Customer-facing skills
- Valid BC driver's license
- Own basic hand tools
- FSR ticket is a strong asset

Experience:
- Residential or service electrical: 2+ years preferred
