Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide exceptional in-home and facility-based support to individuals in need of assistance. The ideal candidate will be committed to enhancing the quality of life for seniors, individuals with disabilities, or those recovering from illness. This role involves assisting with daily activities, ensuring safety, and fostering a caring environment. Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, hospice care, or home care is highly valued. The position offers meaningful work that makes a positive difference in people's lives.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Prepare meals according to dietary guidelines and assist with feeding when necessary
- Administer medications accurately following prescribed schedules and protocols
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning and maintaining a safe environment
- Support clients with mobility and transfer techniques, including heavy lifting when required
- Monitor health status and report any changes to healthcare professionals or family members
- Assist with medical appointments and transportation as needed
- Follow care plans and document care provided accurately
- Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental and emotional well-being
Experience
- Prior experience in assisted living, nursing home, hospice care, or home care settings preferred
- Experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities or dementia is highly desirable
- Knowledge of medication administration and basic nursing procedures is a plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively
- Strong caregiving skills with patience, empathy, and excellent communication abilities
- Certification in caregiving or related fields is an advantage but not required; training will be provided if necessary

Pay: From $22.00 per hour
