Plant Coordinator

Frank’s Group is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Plant Coordinator to support daily operations within our industrial blasting and coating facility. This role is the central point of coordination between the shop floor, management, and support departments to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily shop operations, including blasting, coating, and production workflow
- Assist in planning and scheduling jobs to meet customer timelines and production targets
- Act as a liaison between shop staff, management, and office team to ensure clear communication
- Track job progress, materials, and labour to identify delays or bottlenecks and resolve issues proactively
- Prepare and maintain work orders, production reports, and job documentation
- Support inventory tracking and ensure required materials and supplies are available
- Coordinate shipping/receiving and ensure projects are prepared for delivery
- Assist with purchasing, invoicing support, and general administrative tasks
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with company safety standards and procedures
- Support quality control processes and communicate with QA/QC when required
- Maintain accurate records of production activities, labour, and materials

- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with both shop and office teams
- Problem-solving mindset with a focus on efficiency and continuous improvement
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook) and basic systems/ERP familiarity
- Understanding of industrial shop operations or manufacturing workflows preferred
Bonus Experience (Strong Assets)
- Previous experience working in a blasting and coating shop
- Familiarity with surface preparation, coating processes, and shop workflows
- Experience coordinating industrial or fabrication projects
Bonus Certifications
- AMPP (NACE) Certification – any level
- Knowledge of coating standards, inspection processes, or QA/QC practices
Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
