Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our team. In this role, you will be a Casual staff part of our team responsible for fostering a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment that supports the developmental needs of young children. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and experience working with children of diverse backgrounds, including those with disabilities. Duties
- Provide attentive caregiving to meet the individual needs of each child, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Participate in engaging activities that encourage exploration, creativity, and learning in a classroom setting.
- Support children with disabilities by adapting activities and providing necessary accommodations to foster inclusion.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive classroom environment that promotes teamwork and shared goals.
- Uphold health and safety standards by following proper hygiene practices and implementing safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's development, behavior, and classroom events.
Requirements
- Experience working with children in educational or caregiving settings is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and best practices.
- Strong caregiving skills combined with patience, empathy, and enthusiasm for working with young children.
- Ability to develop engaging educational activities tailored to various developmental stages.
- Certification or training in early childhood education is a plus but not mandatory; relevant experience will be considered.
- Excellent communication skills to foster positive relationships with children, families, and team members.
- Commitment to creating an inclusive environment that respects individual differences and promotes learning through play.
Pay: $16.00 per hour
