We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Childcare Worker to provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children. Duties
- Supervise children during various activities, ensuring their safety at all times
- Plan and facilitate age-appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized childcare area, adhering to health and safety standards
- Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding children's progress and daily activities
- Support children with personal care routines such as diapering or toileting when necessary
- Encourage positive behavior and conflict resolution among children
- Observe and document children's development milestones and behavioral changes for reporting purposes
Skills
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and team members
- Patience, empathy, and a caring attitude towards children of all ages
- Ability to create engaging activities that stimulate learning and creativity
- Knowledge of child safety protocols and basic first aid procedures (certification preferred)
- Flexibility to adapt to changing needs and schedules within the childcare setting
- Prior experience working with children is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential
- Ability to maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and a positive attitude in all interactions
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
