Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced QA Supervisor to lead our Food Safety, QA and Sanitation team within our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will oversee food safety, quality control & sanitation processes, ensure compliance with industry standards, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to the integrity of our products and uphold the highest standards of quality management across all production stages. The QA Supervisor will play a pivotal role in maintaining customer satisfaction and supporting operational excellence.
Duties
- Lead and supervise the quality assurance team to ensure adherence to quality standards and procedures.
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality control protocols, inspection plans, and testing methods.
- Conduct thorough analysis of manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Oversee quality inspections at various stages of production to detect defects and ensure product compliance.
- Collaborate with production managers to integrate quality assurance measures into daily operations.
- Manage documentation related to quality metrics, non-conformance reports, and audit findings.
- Facilitate training sessions for staff on food safety, QA/QC, lab & sanitation procedures, safety standards, and best practices.
- Coordinate internal audits and support external inspections or certifications as required.
- Drive projects aimed at enhancing product quality, reducing waste, and optimizing manufacturing efficiency.
Experience
- Proven experience in manufacturing environments with a focus on quality control and assurance.
- Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and implement data-driven solutions.
- Demonstrated expertise in quality inspection techniques, quality management systems, and industry standards such as ISO or GMP.
- Familiarity with QA/QC methodologies, root cause analysis, and corrective action processes.
- Project management experience is preferred to oversee multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Prior experience in developing and maintaining documentation related to quality processes is highly desirable. This position requires a dedicated professional committed to maintaining the highest standards of product excellence while fostering a safe and efficient work environment.
Work schedule:
- Full-time: Sunday-Thursday
- Mornings, Days, evenings shifts or night shifts as needed.
- Shift times may vary depending on production schedule and business requirements.
Pay: $26.44-$28.84 per hour
