Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Fire Suppression Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, inspecting, maintaining, and repairing fire suppression systems to ensure safety and compliance across various facilities. This role requires System specific Training and a strong understanding of system design, construction processes, and inspection procedures to deliver reliable fire protection solutions. The Fire Suppression Technician plays a critical part in safeguarding lives and property through expert system management and technical support.
Duties
- Install and assemble fire suppression systems in accordance with engineering specifications and safety standards
- Conduct routine inspections and testing of fire suppression equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on existing fire suppression systems
- Perform Fire Extinguisher and Emergency light Inspections, installation and maintenance.
- Document all inspections, maintenance activities, and repairs accurately in compliance with regulatory requirements through and online reporting system.
- Ensure all work adheres to local codes, safety regulations, and company policies
- Training related to specific fire suppression system installation and inspection an asset.
- Excellent problem-solving skills for troubleshooting complex system issues
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills for documentation and compliance records
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with construction teams, clients, and regulatory agencies
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Candidates should possess relevant experience in construction, system design, or inspection related to fire protection.
Pay: $25.00-$32.00 per hour
