Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Finish Carpenter salaried employee. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry and construction, with the ability to read blueprints and assemble various structures and fixtures. Responsibilities
- Assemble and install cabinetry, trim, moldings, and other finish carpentry elements.
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine project specifications and requirements.
- Fabricate custom pieces as needed to meet design specifications.
- Restore existing woodwork to its original condition or enhance it with new finishes.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople, including masons and painters, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Perform heavy lifting as required for transporting materials and completing installations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Provide maintenance person services as needed for various projects.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a carpenter with a focus on finish work.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding construction drawings.
- Strong skills in assembling furniture, cabinetry, and other wood structures.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) safely.
- Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
