Foreman – Manhole Cast in Place Rebuilds and Duct Structures
- Seeking skilled and experienced Foreman with minimum 5 years experience completing manhole rebuilds and duct structures to join our team in Ottawa
- You will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating projects from start to finish. This role is suitable for an individual with strong, proven leadership abilities who has a solid understanding of the construction processes. Responsibilities include;
- Supervise and manage construction projects while overseeing a crew of approximately 6 workers daily, providing training and guidance when required while promoting teamwork and productivity.
- Attending pre-construction meetings
- Knowledge on hydro vac operation
- Monitoring and enforcing safety regulations ensuring industry compliance
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely deliveries of materials and equipment
- Conduct site inspections to identify any potential issues or deviations from project plans
- Communicate with Shop Manager for any required equipment or tool repairs
- Producing various reports as required
