Our mission is to empower people to live their lives to the fullest by helping to alleviate their foot pain. To continue to help our clients do more in life, work, and play, we’re looking to train a Kinesiology Graduate to become a Canadian Certified Pedorthist.
As our new Pedorthist in training, you will be paid while taking online courses over the course of the upcoming year. You’ll have the opportunity to learn and do things like:
- Helping to treat injuries, deformities and conditions of the foot
- Assisting the Certified Pedorthist/Care Coordinator in providing service to clients
- Performing biomechanical assessments and gait analyses of the lower extremities, including muscle and joint function and provide optimal short and long-term treatment plans with the help of a mentor Pedorthist
- Assisting with orthotic manufacturing in our on-site labratory
- Maintaining a thorough and accurate patient health record
- Keeping up-to-date with industry knowledge and innovative techniques to improve patient care
- Reviewing and triaging with your multidisciplinary clinical team
- Being a committed and loyal team player to help the clinic always run efficiently and safely

About this opportunity with BioPed Footcare:
New graduates welcome! This is ideally a full-time position (32-40 hours weekly) working typically from Tuesday-Saturday, between the hours of 9:00am-7:00pm. You’ll earn a competitive compensation package. We will offer considerable opportunities for growth and advancement.
Qualifications:
● Enrolled in or graduated from a Kinesiology post-secondary program
